Members' Art in the Wellington Community Center

We've started a new show of our members' art at the Wellington Community Center. We hang this art for a three-month rotation in their Card Room. All members are invited to apply for the next show. The Call to Artists will go out September 24, and the art will be hung November 5.

This first piece is "Mounts Botanical Gardens" by Joanne Baker MacLeod. It is done in oil and is 26" x 36".

This is also by Joanne Baker MacLeod, and is called "Brookgreen Gardens." Joanne is definitely inspired by the beauty in Florida. This painting is done in oil and is 24 1/2" x 32 1/2".

Laura Willems has three pieces in this show. This first one is called "Paint by Numbers," and is 24" x 20" and is done in acrylic.

"Primary Colors" is also acrylic, and is 20" x 24".

And finally, we have "Full Bloom", also by Laura Willems. She certainly broke from her usual style with this beauty. This is 14" x 14" and is acrylic.

The Wellington Community Center is located at 12150 W. Forest Hill Blvd. in Wellington. It is in the City complex, located between the pool and the tennis courts. It is open Monday through Thursday.
