Wonderful Art in Wellington

Stop by the Wellington City Hall to see our latest gallery showing of our members' artwork. This artwork will remain through the Spring. Some of it is on the ground floor, but most is on the second, so be sure to tell the front desk you're going up to see the art.

Thirty-six different pieces of art are on display for this show. I'll show you each piece over the next few blog posts, so be sure to stop by this blog again in a few days.

Artist Kathy Morlock paints in both oils and watercolors. This one is done in oil and is titled "Water Flowers." It is 36" x 36", $550.

Here is how it looks in City Hall. It is located on the first floor.

"Dancing Horse" is an acrylic painting by Candra Conner. It is 48" x 60", $2,500.

Joanne Baker MacLeod paints in oils. This one is called "Woods in Florida." It is 30" x 40", $750.

Artist Tom Carey is inspired by the photographs of another one of our artists, Nancy Brown. Nancy has traveled to China and has shown her photographs at City Hall. Tom uses acrylics to interpret his version of her beautiful photographs. This one is called "Chinese Stone Bridge" and is 20" x 16", $800.

Tom Carey also painted this acrylic called "Chinese Canal (Venice of China)." It is 20" x 16", $800.

The third painting by Tom Carey at City Hall is called "Chinese Fisherman I," and it is also painted in acrylics. It is 20" x 16", $400.

Candra Conner painted "War Horse" in acrylic. It is 16" x 20", $150.
